This notice explains what information acapolicyhub.com collects, why it is collected and how it is handled. It covers the site, its forms and any message sent in response to a request made through it.

Information reaches ACApolicyHub in two ways: it is given directly through a form, or it is recorded automatically as the site is used.

• Details entered on a form, such as name, email address, phone number and the household or coverage information described in a message
• Account information, including the password chosen when an account is opened
• Technical information gathered automatically, such as browser type, device type, approximate region and the pages viewed

Information is used to answer the request it arrived with and to keep the service running properly.

• Replying to questions about Affordable Care Act coverage and plan costs
• Preparing plan information relevant to the household described in a submission
• Sending reminders about enrollment periods where permission to do so has been given
• Maintaining accounts, securing the site and improving how its pages work

Consent to receive text messages is collected separately on the signup form and is never required in order to receive information.

Service messages relate to a request already submitted. Marketing messages describe plan options and offers. Either type can be stopped by replying STOP to a message, and replying HELP returns support information. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

Cookies and similar technologies keep the site working smoothly and show which pages are being read. They are not used to build advertising profiles of visitors.

Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or cleared. Turning them off may change how parts of the site behave.

Information is shared only where it is needed to deliver what was asked for or where the law requires it.

• With insurance carriers or licensed representatives when a coverage request is being prepared or submitted at the visitor's direction
• With service providers that host the site, deliver email or send text messages on behalf of ACApolicyHub
• Where disclosure is required by law, by a court order or to protect the safety and rights of others

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to answer a request, maintain an account and satisfy record keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed it is deleted or rendered unreadable.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards protect the information held, including restricted access and encrypted transmission of form submissions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.

Requests can be made at any time using the contact details on this site.

• Ask for a copy of the personal information held about you
• Ask for information that is inaccurate to be corrected
• Ask for information to be deleted, subject to any legal obligation to retain it
• Withdraw consent for marketing messages, by replying STOP or by sending a request

The site is not directed at children and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under the age of eighteen. Any such information that comes to light is removed.

Links on this site may lead to carrier pages, government resources or other outside sites. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices, which should be read before information is shared with them.
